The Short Version

NyXnia sets no advertising or marketing cookies, builds no visitor profiles, and places no advertising pixels on its public pages.

NyXnia uses necessary cookies to keep the website secure and working as intended. The site is delivered and defended through a third-party network-security and content-delivery layer. To keep the site reachable and to block attacks, that layer can set strictly necessary cookies of its own and may run its own security checks and aggregate performance measurement, under its own policy. NyXnia does not use that layer to identify you, and sets no cookies of its own: there is no sign-in session or shopping cart here. Optional cookies — ones that improve functionality, help us understand how the website is used, or support additional features — are used only with your consent. That is what the consent banner is for: your answer is stored on your device and nowhere else, and anything optional can only switch on with your permission. The categories below explain what that means.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser to recognize you between visits. Similar technologies include local storage — a browser feature that keeps small pieces of data on your device without sending them anywhere.

What We Actually Use

One local-storage entry of our own. When you answer the consent banner, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name nyxnia-consent-v1 — it holds only your answer and the date, never leaves your device, and is read for a single purpose: remembering that you already answered. Beyond that, NyXnia sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing else to your browser. The site reaches you through a third-party network-security and content-delivery layer that analyzes traffic — including IP addresses — to route requests, block attacks and measure delivery. That layer may set strictly necessary cookies and may place its own security or aggregate measurement scripts on the page; they belong to that provider, serve delivery and protection, and are not used by NyXnia to identify or profile you. NyXnia places no advertising pixel and no marketing tracker of its own, and our own traffic statistics come from short-lived server logs on our infrastructure.

Both answers currently lead to the same NyXnia site — nothing optional of ours exists today; the choice is stored so that anything optional added later can only switch on with your permission.

Cookie Categories

The categories consent rules recognize, and where this website stands on each:

• Strictly necessary — required for something you asked for, or for delivering the site securely. Exempt from consent under the ePrivacy rules. In use here: yes — the network-security and content-delivery layer's cookies for attack defense and delivery. NyXnia sets none of its own; there is nothing to sign in to on this website, and the one local-storage entry above remembers your consent choice (remembering your answer is itself exempt).
• Functional / preference — remember choices like language or theme. In use here: none — language is part of the address (/sv/), so nothing needs to be stored.
• Analytics / statistics — measure how the site is used. In use here: no cookies set by NyXnia — our statistics are derived from short-lived server logs on our own infrastructure, as the Privacy Policy describes. The delivery layer may report aggregate, non-identifying delivery statistics to us under its own policy.
• Marketing / tracking — profile you across sites. In use here: none.

Should NyXnia itself ever need a strictly necessary or functional cookie, this policy is updated first — see the next section.

If That Ever Changes

Customer sign-in is not open. If it opens, a strictly necessary session cookie (httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) would be required for it to work — such cookies are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy rules because the thing you asked for cannot function without them. This policy will be updated before any such cookie is set, not after.

Any future authenticated platform will be a separate system with its own policy, published with it.

Managing Cookies

Because NyXnia sets no tracking cookies, there is nothing you must configure for ordinary browsing. Blocking all cookies in your browser does not stop you from reading this site, though the network-security layer may occasionally ask your browser to complete a check.

You can change your answer at any time:

Clearing your browser's stored data also removes the saved choice — the banner simply asks again on your next visit, and the site behaves identically either way.
